TEAMPHONE APPOINTS SALES EXPERT
Teamphone, the leader in Web-based Unified Communications solutions and services, has appointed Philippe Lignac, to implement its ASP model and capitalise on the predicted market growth in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) telecoms sector.
Lignac, who has extensive experience of increasing the sales and profitability of high tech sector companies, will be responsible for taking forward Teamphone’s network development in the run up to unveiling its plans for an ASP model and to consolidate its past success with companies such as BT and Microsoft.
Philippe reports to Stephen Meyler, Teamphone’s President, who joined the company in February. Stephen comments, “Philippe’s expertise in bringing new product technology to new sectors will be a great asset to Teamphone’s business expansion aspirations over the next few years. Our ongoing monitoring of business markets has indicated to us that now is a very good time for a Unified Communications product like Teamphone, to be developed and introduced to new markets. Philippe is the person who will play an instrumental role in helping us to realise these opportunities.”
Philippe joins the company from Minacom Solutions, OSS software developers for quality assurance in the telecoms industry, where he was responsible for the sales and marketing strategy throughout EMEA. Philippe achieved an MBA in International Business from Warwick Business School in 1992 and a BSc in Computing from Universite d’Orsay, France.
